Tempered glass
Tempered glass is glass that is heated to a certain temperature and then quickly cooled, or is specially treated with chemical methods. Generally, based on the original ordinary float glass, the glass is heated to the softening point temperature and then quenched, so that tensile stress is generated in the center of the glass and compressive stress is generated on the surface of the glass to achieve a uniform stress balance.
Tempered glass is characterized by high strength, and its general strength can reach about 4 times that of ordinary flat glass. Safety tempered glass breaks into small particles without sharp angles after breaking.
Laminated glass
Laminated glass is a glass product made of one or more layers of glass sandwiched with an organic polymer interlayer material that plays a bonding and isolating role. The interlayer gives laminated glass impact resistance, solar control and sound insulation. Commonly used interlayer films for laminated glass include: PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc. The characteristic of laminated glass is safety - even if the glass breaks, the fragments will be stuck to the film, ensuring personal safety.
